Hunting in darkness is a unique challenge: your vital sense of sight is severely impaired and the risk of not being successful, or even making a wrong decision, is high. The night time and dusk play an important role for hunters, especially when it comes to hunting wild boar and fox.
It's time to handle the night with the ZEISS DTI 3/35. The outstanding thermal imaging camera with the intuitive ErgoControl operating concept was developed by fellow hunters, for hunters.
The Zeiss DTI 3/35 offers 4 different colour modes so that you can choose the setting best suits your needs. Black Hot" and "White Hot" provide a high level of contrast in an image. These settings are superb for detection, recognition and identification. When obseving in areas with vast vegetation, "Red Hot" allows for a fast detection of heat signatures. The colour mode "Rainbow" is idel for identifying the smallest differences in temperature.
The Zeiss DTI 3/35 features a display frame rate of 50 Hz. This refers to the number of times per second the monitor can redraw the screen. A higher display frame rate results in decreased flickering of the image, reducing eye strain when viewing for several hours at a time.
The picture-in-picture function of the Zeiss DTI 3/35 allows overlaying the zoomed image on the visual image. This features helps to keep sight of the animal you are observing in zoom mode, even when it makes sudden movements.
In "Hot Tracking" mode, the warmest source in the image is framed with a red square. Finding heat sources in densely overgrown areas and tracking them is therefore easier.
