Overall good condition pre-owned Wildcat Growler rimfire sound moderator threaded 1/2" UNF. There is some cosmetic scuffing to the end of the moderator. A forerunner to the Whisper and the Panther over barrel rimfire mods, the Growler was one of the earliest designs but still boasts the performance one would expect from a Wildcat sound moderator.

Wildcat sound moderators are one of the most popular choices for sound moderation in the UK. Their over barrel designs have long been popular with anyone looking to effectively reduce the sound of their rifle without adding excessive length to the end of the barrel. The Growler was one of their first designs for a .22 moderator that could also be used with small centrefire calibres such as .22 Hornet. Although replaced with the Whisper and later the Panther, the Growler was a very popular sound moderator during its lifetime. This pre-owned example has seen some use, as the cosmetic marks on the ends show, but the internals are still in good condition and it has a lot of life left in it.
