Very good condition SKB 200E. This Japanese made shotgun is perfect for someone who wants a side by side for all round use. With a single trigger, this is going to feel more familiar to shooters who have only used semi-autos or over and unders. There is a barrel selector switch built in to the trigger and it has the expected auto-safety. The wide rib has a mid bead and fore bead, being more in line with a sporting over and under than the more traditional game rib side by side. This shotgun feels a little bigger in the hand than the traditional British or European build and will not be quite as lively as some other side by sides. This SKB is in very good condition overall, locking up well and the barrels are in good condition. There are a few cosmetic marks on the stock, but less than expected for a field gun.

They offered a complete range of shotguns, from single barrel trap guns, semi-autos, side by sides and over and unders. They exported most of their production, with a large amount being imported to the USA by Ithaca. They built a name with their quality and remained a part of the US market for under Japanese ownership until the early 2000s. They also subcontracted for Miroku and Browning during this time. Japanese made SKBs still offer excellent value for money, especially for second guns or field guns today.
