The Tench (Tinca tinca)
Length: 60cm
The tench (or doctor fish) is a member of carp family (Cyprinidae) and inhabits the majority of Europe including the British Isles. Its prime habitats are slow flowing warm rivers and lakes with abundant vegetation. In optimal conditions, it can reach 70cm in length and weigh around 7kg. Tench have a characteristic stocky build and relatively large fins. It feeds mainly on invertibrates found on the bottom of waterbodies. They are considered one of the most beautiful representative species of its family.

Goods must be delivered to us within 14 days of return notification.
Goods must have accompanying copy receipt for return.
Goods returned unwanted are subject to a minimum postage charge of £3.50 or the actual delivery costs incurred to us, whichever is the greater.
Returned goods must be in new condition, i.e. unused and unmarked with labels attached.
Costs incurred in returning items are your responsibility.
