Excellent condition example of the R-10 Elite. This limited run of 100 air rifles was made in conjunction with the Airgun Centre. In a grey laminate stock, this R-10 has been fitted with a Huggett moderator and barrel shroud. The bottle and the barrel shroud have a grey colouration, whilst the moderator retains the traditional black colouration of Huggett moderators. The barrel shroud is stated to reduce the sound of each shot from 76db to 70db. Only 100 of these R-10s were ever produced, making them a rarity on the pre-owned market. This one is number 36 of 100 and has the certificate of authenticity, a Hawke Eclipse 4-16x50 scope, as well as three magazines, a 3D printed magazine case, fill probe and sling. A must for anyone who collects BSA special editions.

Originally available exclusively from The Airgun Centre in Rayleigh, Essex, the BSA R10 Elite was born of a collaboration between Peter Zamit of The Airgun Centre, England’s prestigious Huggett Silencers and, of course, BSA. Dressed in a stunning Black Pepper laminate stock, which is not only robust but also adds a little bit of weight to the rifle, the R10 Elite feels very stable. The Huggett shroud and silencer fitted to this new R10 has reduced the noise from 76db output, to just 70db – and it’s changed the report’s tone from a ‘crack’ (caused by the supersonic air exiting the muzzle) to a much gentle ‘whoosh’. The Elite models buddy-bottle also features a rubberised coating from Hydrographics, providing extra protection against scratches and a more comfortable hold on cold, wet days.
