STOCK

The well balanced and ambidextrous lacquered walnut stock of the 1761 Classic exudes tradition. A straight-forward yet effective design, the stock keeps vibration to a minimum. Laser-cut, weather-resistant checkering adorns the stock for optimal grip and a shock-absorbing, non-slip butt pad is fitted.

RECEIVER

The foundation of high precision rests on the design of the barreled action. Geometry inspired by Anschutz target rifles, with a high degree of stiffness, a flat supporting surface and an integrated recoil lug. The action is manufactured to highly demanding production standards and is overseen by the highly knowledgeable gunsmiths at Anschutz. For those keen on home maintenance, all aspects of the rifle's wearing parts are engineered to be easily change. The luminous matte surface of the receiver lends the 1761 a timeless appearance, which will continue to look excellent even for many years to come.

BOLT

A small bearing reduces the force needed to open and to close the bolt, making for fast and easy rechambering. The bolt has a symmetrically arranged three-lug locking mechanism for the highest safety and phenomenal precision. Just as with the receiver, the bolt can be disassembled for care and cleaning with ease. The high-quality and resistant QPQ coating ensures additional sliding capacity, resistance to wear, and corrosion protection, and thus is perfect for those who use their Anschutz rifle for hunting and in harsh weather conditions.

TRIGGER

Anschutz' target two-stage and single-stage triggers have always set the standard for quality, reliability, and precision. It is not without reason that Anschutz triggers are known as the finest in the world. Many manufacturers offer adapters for integration of this masterpiece of the German gunsmith‘s art into their firearms. The light weight, hardened and finely ground trigger components of the 1761 Classc facilitate fast and consistent trigger release.
